2023年11月14日 · Seeing red (2017-2018): An opaque and unique typeface was introduced at this time. The all-red design was a paired back, geometric version of the previous Roblox logos – the most notable change being the replacement of the accented “O” with a square, gear-like “O”.

2023年10月3日 · “R” was used as the Roblox symbol until 2017 as it was the most recognizable. Later, Roblox symbol was changed to “O” that looked like a big inverted square with a hole inside. Redesign was applied only in color.

In October 2015, the favicon was changed to simply feature the "R" in the new logo introduced at the same time. Despite being replaced in 2017, it still appears on some Roblox toys and old Roblox gears. In 2017, the icon was made to look like the first "O" in the 2017 logo.

Our updated logo introduces new custom letterforms that are lighter in weight and reflect a more modern aesthetic. The second “o” has returned as a letter, giving more focus to our iconic tilt. The tilt has been slightly refined but continues to maintain its distinct character.
