In 1925, Rutini Wines became the first winery to plant vineyards in the Uco Valley, today recognized worldwide as one of the main wine regions of Mendoza and Argentina.

Since its foundation in 1885, Rutini Wines has been recognized for its extraordinary quality and character of its wines. As Don Felipe Rutini built the winery under the slogan ¨Labor and Perseverance¨, he created a lasting legacy for top quality wines in Argentina.

Rutini is a leading wine producer in Mendoza, Argentina, founded in 1885. It makes wines from 15 grape varieties including Malbec, Cabernet sauvignon and Chardonnay.

The 60 roll fermentors of 600 liters each, destined to the microfermentations of red grapes for the highest lines and blends, stand out. Also the 500 liter barrels for white and rosé wines, whose larger volume decreases the contact of the wood with the wine and gives rise to subtle notes.

Rutini Wines was a pioneer of the Argentinian premium wine industry, and continues to maintain this essential component of their identity, thanks to the terroirs, state of the art installations, winemaker expertise, and most of all their dedication to consistently create superb quality wines.

The combination of the desert-like conditions and high-altitude vineyards aid in producing wines with robust concentration with plenty of supporting acidity. The Malbecs from the region are known for producing wines with dense boysenberry, plum and blackberry flavors and often show layers of coffee and bitter chocolate due to oak aging.
