French Onion Tarte Tatin…so simple but luxurious, the tarte is very easy to prepare but so elegant… Ingredients: 3 large yellow onions (2 cut into thick wedges as shown in the video and 1 sliced). 2 shallots (thinly sliced). 1 large red onion (thinly sliced). 1/3 cup beef stock. 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar. 1/3 cup red wine. ½ tsp nutmeg. ½ tsp cayenne pepper. ½ tsp dried thyme. 2 tbsp chives. Salt/pepper to taste. 3 tbsp unsalted butter. 3 tbsp cane sugar. 1 cup grated gruyere. 1 tbsp grainy Dijon
