County of Maui - Today marks one year since the...

I went to the Westside Maui today to volunteer, but I ended up in Kaanapali. (Long story) Anyway, as you can see, Kaanapali Beach is still empty (almost empty). I was there around 10:30ish am. @leilanisonthebeach will open at 12 noon but I couldn’t wait so we’d just have go back next time to eat lunch or dinner there to have Hula Pie for dessert. A few stores in Whalers Village are open. Parking is free. Love this rendition of this song by @billieeilish so used it with this Kaanapali Beach video

What a blessing to volunteer at the Christmas Event at @hopechapelmaui today. 🎄✨ This event was for the families with children whose housing has been impacted by the Maui Fire.
