Scale have a protective dome that shields them from most sprays, which is why physical removal is highly effective. - My big Monstera got infested with scale so here's my initial treatment: - 1) Cut off heavily infested leaves (especially if they are older leaves) - the lower leaves will die off at some point so if they are heavily infested, cutting off plant material will greatly reduce the overall infestation - 2) Lint roller - not only does this pull off the little domes, any nearby crawlers
