Nickel Plate Road No.765 at Pleasant Lake Depot Pleasant Lake, Indiana Pleasant Lake's historic train depot, also known as the New York Central Railroad Depot, was built in 1882 by the Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railway, was a vital hub for passenger and freight trains. Known for its Gothic Revival style, this one-story frame building is now preserved by the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.
