Tempur-Pedic uses a glass fiber that's wrapped with another fabric within its flame barriers, it's known as core-spun glass fiber. Tempur Sealy claims this core spun glass fiber is safer than regular fiberglass found in other mattresses. But, isn't glass still glass whether it's wrapped in a sheath or not? What happens when that protective sheath gets ripped, or worn away, is there not still a risk of glass fibers escaping the mattresses? Tempur Sealy doesn't think it's a problem. #fiberglasscon
