This little guy is almost 1 years old and has been walking with a toy walker for a while and also holding his mom’s hands. He tends to walk on his toes and also drag his feet. This is a great exercise to promote a more normal walking pattern with flat feet and hip flexion. It also works on the child’s balance and core strength as there is nothing in front of the child to hold on to. This is a tricky one to practice at home! Make sure your child has good standing balance first before trying this!

Should you worry if your 12 month old is not walking?👇 Each baby will learn to coordinate and balance at different rates! Some babies will learn to walk at 8 months while others may start closer to 18 months. There is a wide range of normal! That being said, we do recommend that you check in with your care provider if your little one is not walking by 18 months or earlier if your 12 month old is displaying any of the following: 🛑 The presence of any other delays (speech, fine motor or feeding)
