I feel like the only upright sedum I hear about is autumn joy — and YES, it’s a great upright sedum that doesn’t flop over in the garden. BUT… it’s kind of boring colored. 🙈 This Neon sedum is on its second year in my garden and seems to grow JUST as well — plus the color of the blooms is GORGEOUS— and the stems are strong and not floppy 👌 I’d love a dark leafed variety that grows well. 🙃 — the few that I have tried in my garden… grow OK the first year… and… barely come back in the following

Sedum is a great and perennial. It’s also called “Autumn Joy” Stonecrop. There are also ground cover varieties of sedum. Check it out. I divided these in the Fall but spring is a great time too.
